Pipe shall be practically straight, and both ends shall be at a right angle to its axis. The inside and outside surfaces of pipe shall be well-finished and free from defects that are detrimental to practical use. When pipes are repaired, grinding or machining may be applicable, however, the thickness after repairing shall be within the tolerances of wall thickness.
